1. CAPILLARY MESOTHERAPY: INTRODUCTION
Capillary mesotherapy is part of the therapeutic arsenal to combat hair loss as well as male and female baldness.
Capillary mesotherapy is a technique of microinjections of a multivitamin cocktail into the dermis of the scalp. This is accomplished using small, painless punctures into the scalp.
The cocktail injected intradermally is made up of:
- Amino acids
- Vitamins
- Trace elements
- Minerals
- Vasodilators
These elements work together in the scalp to slow hair loss and sometimes stimulate hair growth.
CAPILLARY MESOTHERAPY: INDICATIONS
A digitized trichoscopy (Tricholab®) is required to measure the effectiveness of treatment.
- Men and women
- Seasonal hair loss
- Diffuse hair loss
- Androgenetic hair loss
This technique is not recommended for patients with: scalp problems, allergies, skin diseases, circulation problems, cancer or infectious diseases.
3. PROCEDURE
This procedure is performed by a specialized doctor who superficially and painlessly injects a mixture of multivitamins. It is done by micro-needle injection directly into the dermis.
4. PROS OF CAPILLARY MESOTHERAPY
It regulates seasonal, diffuse and androgenetic hair loss.
5. CONS OF CAPILLARY MESOTHERAPY
Patients may experience mild sensitivity after the injections.
6. PROTOCOL
Each session lasts 15-30 minutes
In total, 12 sessions are required: 8 sessions every week and then 4 sessions every other week.
Maintenance sessions may be recommended to maintain results.
7. FEES
The preliminary diagnosis costs 80 euros (trichoscopy).
Each micro-needling session costs 150 euros.
8. CONCLUSION
